Basically I'm in year 12 now, which means I'm gonna have to pull up my socks a little bit. Unfortunately this may mean spending less time on the server and more time on schoolwork, especially with Research Project.
Now, I know you may be freaking out a little, with comments such as "Omg Radox is such a valued member, he can't leave" or "I miss Radox12, he was an awesome dude" but don't worry, I'm not leaving completely. I'll still try to join the server when I can, and I'll most likely still be doing stuff on the forums, it's just that sometimes, you just gotta pull your socks up and get on with the job, and for about a term, that job is year 12. At least until Research Project is finished.

Just thought I'd let people know so nobody has to go tracking me down if they need me (more like can't stand not having me).

Hi all, 
Not long ago I added a few end round songs, and re-cut the old ones so all of them were 30 secs long, I also added an endround slowmo. 
Then we underwent some changes/migration and although the song files remained in tact, the file that indexed them was reset to before I changed it all. So I have the time now to go back and change it again if people dislike it. 
It is better (especially with more players) to have more time to do the postroundDM, plus the slowmo takes a few seconds, and it's just nice. 
Personally I like 30 sec, we're currently at 17 sec, and the other options are 20 sec and 25 sec.

Gentlemen. Let's face it, not many guys our age (Let's say teenagers for the sake of not knowing everybody's ages) know how to dress. You've seen the guys. They wear snapbacks, they wear pants with a super low rise, and they wear just really ridiculous, baggy clothes.

It is my personal opinion that the suit is not only the cleanest, nicest looking outfit on the market (although expensive) but it is the most versatile also. This is doubly so for a three-piece suit.

First of all I want to talk about the fit. The pants should break once at the ankle. We don't want the pants to form a puddle at your foot, but we don't want it to stop before the foot. It should fall on the foot, just enough that it forms a single break. The jacket should be snug against your body, but not tight. It should look like it fits perfectly to your body. You should not be busting out of the suit because it's so small, and it should not look baggy, or boxy. The sleeve should come up to reveal just a small amount of your shirt cuff.

You can wear a three-piece in many ways. There's the classic, which is full-on. Pants, waistcoat, jacket. Buttons done up, and the tie. This is a very professional look which always looks good.

One of my personal favourites is to ditch the jacket, roll up your shirt sleeves, unbutton the top button on your shirt and keep the tie loose. This, I feel, is a clean look that says "Professional, yet playful."

Another personal favourite is to lose the waistcoat and leave your jacket undone, revealing your tie. This is another very professional look that shows that you know how to dress.


I could go on for ages about suits but I'm keeping it short and sweet. I can't stress enough that every guy should have at least one suit in his wardrobe. More would be preferable but to each their own.

Hello all, I like to believe that some of you out there are creative and good at art and design. I am the opposite of this and am terrible at designing anything. I would like to suggest that in this thread you can show off your designs for whatever reason. It can be hand drawn pictures, photoshop designs, logos, signatures, personal work or whatever. 

I would also like to hold some sort of competition but not really. If anyone has the time or wants something to do when they are bored I would like you to make me either a logo/profile picture or a signature/banner. Make your designs however you like, I will select the best logo and signature that I feel suits me best and use them on the forums from now on. I will use them for at least a month and hope to use them for longer.

I spend a lot of my free time playing Garry's Mod, or browsing the Rusty Cutlass forums. Otherwise, I'm reading or, albeit rarely, studying.

Unfortunately, not a great deal, but I'm willing to learn.

What makes you feel like you should be accepted over other applicants?:

I've been in this community for a while now, and I plan on staying a lot longer. Other than that, I feel like I'm easy to talk to, and can see both sides of an issue.

How are you going to improve our server?:

Make sure no-one is breaking any rules, really. Often, I stay on the server after everyone's left in case someone else wants to join. I believe that making newcomers to the community, or even just TTT, feel comfortable is important. At the very least, I'll be handing out slays, kicks, and bans as necessary.

What makes you trustworthy?:

I have been with this community for a while now, without incident. I haven't done anything to lose anyone's trust.

Have you ever been punished, and if so, why?:

I think I have been reported a few times because a T thought I RDM'ed them, but I've always had evidence to support me. I don't think I've ever been punished.

I don't want to go overboard with this, as I don't know who'll vouch for me. I do know that natjosh can support my application.

SITUATIONS

You have noticed that a staff member is abusing his powers and rdming because he/she thinks he/she is invincible as an admin. Do you feel that this is right? If not, what would you do in this situation?

No, doing that is wrong. Being an admin does not give you free reign to do as you please. If I do notice admin abuse, I would first issue a warning to the admin, and if the behaviour continues, collect evidence and post it to the admin abuse thread and/or inform a higher-up.

A young player joins that does not quite understand how to play, how do you show/teach the player how to play?

Yes, I do. I first instruct them to read through the basic rules of TTT, available if they press F1. I can then explain to them any server-related rules, and explain that because of the weapon pack we have, innocents can have weapons like the AK-47.

One of the players on the server starts to impersonate yourself/another admin. How would you deal with this player?

I would issue the player with a warning, and request they change their name. If they continue their impersonation, I will kick them for impersonating staff.

You are on the forums and you notice a player being abused by others in the shout box and threads. Are you in control of this/is this your problem to worry about?

Yes this is my problem to worry about. Noone in our community should feel attacked. I would first ask if they have a reason for it, and if the reason is unsatisfactory, I would report their behaviour to a higher-up.

Define the following terms:

RDM: Random Death Match or killing someone for no reason.
Minge: Someone who doesn't intend to roleplay and causes trouble for other players.
Mass RDM: Killing more than one person for no reason.
Self Supply: Changing jobs to get weapons/tools to drop them and switch to another job.
Prop block: Not allowing people in an area by blocking it off with a prop.
Hacking: Using tools not included normally in the game to gain an upper hand on regular players e.g Wallhack, Aimbot.
DDOS attack: An attempt to crash the server by flooding it with traffic to bring it offline.
NLR: New Life Rule, you aren't allowed to return to your place of death until the circle goes away and you forget what happened before you died.

Hypothetical Situations:

Chris Smith interrupts your admin sit: Make sure he knew whether there was a sit going on and verbally warn him to try not to do it again.
Charlie is being a minge: Kick him, if he returns and does it again they would be banned.
A staff member is abusing their powers: Teleport to them and tell them to stop, and make sure higher ups are notified.
Frankie RDM's once: Try to get his side of the story before any punishment is handed out. If it was RDM and was only the first time, he'd be warned.
A super admin is abusing: Take screenshots and report it to a Head Admin/Owner.
Frank self supplies: Strip him of self supplied items and warn him, possibly job ban.
Adolf Hitler Mass RDM's: Ask for his side of the story, check logs if necessary and hand out sufficient punishment if needed.
Thor is job abusing as gun dealer/black market dealer: Job ban and warn.
Agent 47 the hitman kill's someone and they complain: Make sure it was an actual hit then inform the person killed if it wasn't RDM. If it was the hitman would be warned.

So. Since Diy has failed in his duty as an active member of this forum, I took it upon myself to begin this poll for movie night this weekend.
I thought because I didn't have many ideas for films, let's just have a horror night on Friday. The three movies are:

We all lost credits and for the long time players its a deadly Blow so if it is possible can we get our credits back if we had player more than a 2-3 Days on the server.
