Radox's Workout Song #1 31/03/17
#1
So if you read my blog, you'll already know that recently I've been cracking the whiip on my health. I realized I was unhealthy a while ago, but it really hit me when I walked up a flight of stairs to get to the second floor of my school and I was out of breath. I realized then that it was time to do something.

So I started bodyweight training. I wanted to not only be healthy, but I wanted to look healthy. No longer having this beer belly.
So without further ado, here is the first of my workout songs. No idea how many of these I will post, but I guess I'll just keep going until someone tells me to stop.

Chop Suey - System of a Down

This song I actually originally hated. It was introduced to me by an old friend in year 9, but then I grew out of my stroppy teenager phase and realized it's actually a pretty good songs if you're angry, or if you just need to push that one more climber before your resting period.

I'd also like to take this time to tell you guys about an app I started using, and it's actually quite good for bodyweight training.
It's called "Freeletics" and I started using it this week. How it works is you download the app, either bodyweight or running. When you open it, you can choose workouts, separate exercises, or running. I do workouts.
It gives you a list off different workouts of different difficulties and durations, and depending on what level you're at, you pick one. You then have a certain amount of reps to do of each exercise, and it times you on the full workout, so you can eventually get to the point where you're smashing your own time, which I guess is the point at which you decide to do a harder one.
You can also pay a small sum for a "coach" which I personally haven't done, but from what I can gather, it unlocks a bunch more workouts and I guess gives you someone to help you through them? Idk I haven't really looked that far, but it's a great app and definitely worth getting on top of if you're into bodyweight training.
