That's pretty bold. I've often wondered similar things myself, but not to this extent. When I get lost in conspiracy I just give myself a smack. Day dreamers thinking what if...
One good example is a bloke at work was way into the flat earth theory.
He had some good points, but some not so good ones as well.
Now don't let the title fool you, although it's called flat earth, the theory is that the earth is bowl shaped, with the arctic at the bottom, and Antarctica stretches around the edge. Also that the sun and moon rotate within the bowl. And NASA is a giant government run facility that just make advanced paintings and little models to lie to us XD
Some examples he gave were that when you look out at the horizon it bends upwards instead of down (like inverse of what it should). I know there is some science for that, but I don't know it so I can't argue... Also with the sun and the moon in the bowl, I ask howcome there is still day and night? And the example given was that if you hold a torch right, and shine it against a wall. And walk backwards away from the wall. Eventually the torch's light isn't visible on the wall. Which is correct, thats why we're not blinded by every star in the universe, but if the sun was that close to the land, we would be dead from the heat, probably blind from the light, and it's just ridiculous. The sun's size, vs the moon's. Nights would be a fraction as long...
I'm gonna stop because this feels like a rant, but basically it's full of holes, yet so many people believe it.
