I'm sure everyone has suggested this multiple times, and yet I'm just doing it to ask peoples opinions.
An achievement system can make a server gain many more regular players by allowing people to gain points to buy different things from the store.
For example, any weapon that people would consider taking skill on (Snipers, winchester rifle, pistol snipers etc etc) there would be a goal to reach. Such as 20 headshots with the Winchester 73, killing people with every type of trap in the traitor menu, or clutching a round with the last bullet in your mag. Things that wont take 5 minutes to complete but actually need to work on over days and weeks.
Something you may be wondering about is now that it will be easier to receive points, peoples outfits and stuff wont be unique anymore. A lot of people will have a lot of things. This can also be fixed by raising prices for everything, to actually make it so you need to complete a lot of achievements to get something nice. This includes prices for taunts.
Pros:
More regular players
Keeps the regular players motivated
Makes it so you don't rely on the continuous 50 points or random drops for your point income.
Obviously makes the game more fun and addictive
Cons:
More and more people will be getting hats, skins, trails etc etc.
This can lead to people (not regulars) not caring about the game all that much and instead going for points.
This may create more rules and give the admins more things to look out for.
I apologise if this is already in the works. This will take awhile to make I reckon if you do it custom.
