some rules - Del - 02-27-2017

I don't like the way i have been treated recently, by some "trusted" members and some "guests" and some things they said where really not nice to say... so i thought of some rules:

#1 No speaking badly of a disability e.g "Are you Autistic or something?!"

#2 No targeting people e.g "KOS Del (every round)"

#3 Talk nice to each other, act nice to each other, or don't play. (Because im sick of people ruining this great community that i have grown to love by acting like little brats who think they can get away with anything *cough cough some people we know*

#4 Treat each player with respect. e.g "If they don't know how to play, teach them. If someone is annoying you, ask them to stop then get staff, not call KOS every single round on them"

Over all, i think that these rules would make the Rusty Cutlass a nicer place for new comers and people that play often.

Del you are a hypocrite. Actions speak louder than words. Across both the DarkRP and TTT experience with you, your tendencies to "fuck around" with no consequences are the main reason you feel this way. This is gods act of Divine Retribution, or in your case, karma. You respond to your treatment as if your a German WW2 Soldier in an interrogation room following a mass gassing, "Was habe ich getan um das zu verdienen? If you want respect earn it, don't beg for it acting as if you've been alienated for no feasible reason. People are more than willing to change in accordance with your own self-evaluation of behavior.

I agree with both of you. Del raises some very good points and I think we are all humans and should treat each other as such. I do also think that Del you also need to act this way too. Whilst I have never actually seen you treat someone poorly, these acts don't just come from nowhere.

To sumarise, we all need to treat each other with peace and love.

RE: some rules - Kortari - 02-27-2017

Gosh, you two are at each others throats.. But some things I have to say.. Everyone generally calls people autistic, not because you are but because it's just the internet language nowadays. My Brother literally has autism and goes around calling people "are you disabled?" because he knows no wrong. Words are just words.

And on a second note "#4 Treat each player with respect."... I honestly would LOVE this but it doesn't happen. You personally haven't treated me with respect in the past Del, same with a few others I wish not to name. But again, I ignore it.

1) I agree with Kortari, when people say 'Are you autistic' it's a joke and you shouldn't take it seriously enough to be salty about it unless you're actively trying to.

2) Targeting or "KOS X" is also a joke and usually said during pre-round. And if I say it during the match I usually follow with a "jk jk" after to make sure people don't actually KOS them if it is false or a joke.

3) I don't think you should be lecturing people on acting nice when you're guilty of it too whether it's retaliation or not.

4) No one has the right to my respect, it is earned and if you do wrong by me i won't respect you whether you like it or not.

1) yes, but it is extremely offensive

2) yes, but it gets people rdm'd

3) acting nice is human, or are you an ape?

4) everyone deserves respect, even lost children like you.

1) If I say it in a joking manner and someone takes offense, I simply won't give two shits.

2) If someone goes to KOS them after I'm 100% clearly joking or it's said during pre-round that's not my problem.

3) I don't think acting nice is human, it clearly shows after your parents decided to keep you.

4) As I said, respect is earned and you certainly haven't earned mine.

RE: some rules - Seathed - 02-27-2017

1. You gotta deal with the trash talk, this is the internet.

2. If someone calls a kos on you and it is false then you report them. This includes joke kos's if they are acted upon.

3. Acting nice is something people should do but it can't be enforced. If it is serious bullying or harassment then you can talk to Kortari who will resolve that issue and contact me or Will if she can't.

4. Respect is a difficult area but in general if you are nice and respect others they'll normally respect you. But again, we can't enforce respect.

Thankyou for bringing this up and don't feel I am attacking you by shutting down most of these rules it's just not something we can enforce.
