I went to get on tonight to find that no one was actually on which was disappointing. I discussed with Will that maybe detectives need a few more weapons to keep up with the traitors, and out of my boredom I have definitely found some contenders (also ones for traitors). You all won't like each and every one of them, but hopefully maybe 1 or 2 will pass all your criticising eyes. I get it, a detective weapon cant be useless, but it can't be way too powerful. In my personal opinion the detectives job isn't suppose to be a traitor killing machine, the role is their for utility to help out the innocents.
I have talked mostly about detectives, but make no mistake some of these are weapons for Traitor's, or a detective weapon that comes with the Traitor weapon.
Please bare with me, it is a long post, but it's worth it if you care about TTT. Now here are the weapons/passives/ideas.
Please note that the pages displayed do have examples and screenshots so you can see that it works. I myself have downloaded each one and tested it on my own, to make sure they all work.

Green = Most likely to add because it's balanced and unique.
Orange = Probably won't add but good idea.
Blue = Upgrade of an existing feature

The Good Choices

The Door Buster, destroys doors and sends them flying. You aren't able to put the doors back on and the explosion does damage. Left mouse click adds the charge (2 charges) and the right does this explosion. Explosion can be cast instantly after placing. This weapon is for both traitor and detective.

The P99 NightHawk is a detective only scoped and silenced pistol that shoots rounds that ignite targets. Pretty basic concept like the flare gun except this is scoped, silenced and doesn't get rid of the body. While the player is on fire it is hard to aim. Very nice model design though.

The Identification Bomb (Boom Body). Now this is exactly like the boom body that was just added, except it has an icon above it that warns traitor buddies so you don't get any nasty surprises. You could replace the boom body but it's honestly up to you. It also comes with a detective weapon that can defuse the boom body if a detective figures it out.

The Bioweapon Kit. Now this is real interesting, it's 4 items in one. Some could mistake this for a poison dart gun, which it isn't. The first two are for the traitor. The bioweapon is shot onto someone with the model of a sniper (so you can do it from a fair distance away), and every 12 seconds you cough and lose around 4-5 health. The interesting part is whenever you cough, anyone in a close vicinity of you also catches he virus, this includes traitors and yourself. Pretty soon every one is infected unless... The second T weapon is a self antidote. The two detectives weapons, one is a self antidote, the other is a mass produced antidote than can be placed starting with 3 charges, and slowly gains more charges every 45 seconds, essentially stopping the virus if everyone grabs a charge. Many of you may comment that this is too similar to a poison dart gun, but I feel this weapon is a lot more interesting and unique that it stays separate from the poison dart.

An actual working detective only Portal Gun. As risky as the grappling hook but a lot more fun. Left and right click summon 2 different portals, only to be put on a clear surface. Momentum does come into effect so it is possible to be killed from it. I just think this is a really fun and useful option, but I understand if anyone doesn't like this. Can be used to get from a really high place, down to the bottom easily.

The Meh Choices

Hermes Boots. Makes you run faster. Traitor and Detective.

Iron Boots. Reduces fall damage completely. Traitor and Detective.

The Gravity Grenade. This is really cool, but the reason it's on this list and not the "Good Choices" list simply because it can be a tad OP. It's a traitor weapon, you through it and people are knocked in the air like a discombob, but instead they are rag dolled and slowed down so they can't move but are slowly moving through the air, after about 5-10 seconds they return to normal speed. In this time a traitor can take out a few people. It's a very powerful option.

This is the Space and Time Manipulator. It's a cool idea but might be considered OP. The fun thing about this is it effects everyone. Right now it's for traitors and detectives, but if it were to be added I'd suggest only doing it for the detective as the Traitor's have Zed time which slows down time more than this does. Left click speeds up time for 10 seconds. Right click slows down time for 10 seconds. The "R" button stops them whenever he chooses if he doesn't wait the 10 seconds. I'd suggest giving it an Ammo system, such as you choose one or the other and you can only use it once.

That's all I have for now guys, feel free to add comments, good or bad. Even if you believe only 1 of these weapons are worth it, please speak up. The only way they'll be added is with support. You're also welcome to post links to your ideas below. Sorry for writing so much, I'm sleep deprived.
This is a very detailed and thought out list. I will make sure to look through all of these and consider adding them.

If you are going to add some of these, I would suggest forgetting about the Door Buster as the spartan kick can send doors flying.
I dislike the portal gun and the time controller.
This is a pretty good list, and I like the ideas behind all these weapons, but I feel some of them just aren't worth buying over some of the other things that traitors have. However for the detective weapons I agree there aren't enough right now and so I'll list below the ones I would add for Detectives:
-P99 Nighthawk
-Portal Gun
-Iron Boots (And maybe Traitor too)

Also, I am a fan of replacing the boom body with one that Traitors are able to see, as I have twice been killed as a traitor for this.
XD I like the current boom body. Maybe the T's should learn to be coordinated, and use Traitor only voice/chat. And we have reduced fall damage as a pointshop perk. I only really like the gravity grenade, the others seem OP or useless. I mean, a silenced incend pistol for detectives? And the bioweapon would be brokenly strong if the detective spent their credit.
Nice list, though.

That kinda seems a bit harsh, I don't see it from your perspective at all. The boom body would be the same except the Traitor buddies know it's there? What traitor wants to sit and type, especially if they don't have a mic, that somewhere on the map there's a fake body waiting to explode. With this you can throw it into a pile of bodies you just killed and your t buddies would know which they can't identify. The reduced fall damage costs a shit tonne meaning only a few innocents can have fall damage reduction, with this it only gives it to the detective, which they can also buy if they're getting the grapple hook. I thought that was pretty obvious. A silenced flare pistol which you can pick up ammo for and has a pretty accurate scope. The shots disorientate the victim just like a detective would want to. With a lack of detective weapons this would make a really nice addition. It's better than getting the silenced MP5 which can be found on the ground anyway? The Bioweapon isn't strong at all, it's mainly used as a distraction. If that one person realises he/she has it, it probably won't get passed on as they'd quarantine themselves away from people. The detective gets 1 credit to start yes, but unless they just instantly buy a grapple hook and don't do their job, shouldn't be a problem? Detectives do gain credits off traitors, they don't just have 1 the entire round. So I really don't see your point there. I spent a lot of time finding these and writing that up, I skipped past a lot of useless shit and I only chose these ones because they add value, fun and a uniqueness to the game. I do think at least 2-3 deserve a long hard look at.
Well, thing is here is that if other traitors know that it's a boom body, it starts becoming overpowered. This is helped by the fact that the boom body explodes if you press E close to it, not even on it. That's what I like about the boom body; risk and reward. Oh and Mordred, I don't use a mic at all. I'd be willing to warn a T buddy of a explosive corpse. And I kinda take back what I said about the bioweapon after playing with it. If you wanna take out a crowd, there's the pigeon. If you just want  to die, there's the poison AWP, neurotoxin gun, poison dart gun and the brain parasite gun. The Nighthawk seems like the enhanced version of the UMP prototype or whatever. I'm not sure if we have that or not, but it's similar. The iron boots seem like a worse version of the PHD Flopper, from this; https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/f...=273623128
And for us, traitors don't really need fall resistance because they can't buy a grapple hook. It's also a dead giveaway that someone's a T. Phew... I'll finish this rant tomorrow.

The boom body is your weapon so ill respect your wishes on that, I just know some people have died because their T buddy didnt say anything. I know you would, but I'm talking about the newbies/guests that don't know the game very well. They won't. I get we have things to do certain jobs, but it's not about that, it's about giving a wide variety. The traitor menu at the moment has a wide variety, but that'll slowly increase due to keeping people interested in motivated, exactly how league of legends, dota, overwatch bring out new people to spice it up. Need to keep it interesting and always changing. Same for the detective menu, the amount of items will slowly increase with good suggestions to make it fun and exciting. Things I left off this list included the one punch mans fists and a grenade that gets rid of everyones ammo. There's always something new that can be added, you can't just not add anything else because something else does that job better but in a different way. Everyone has their own preferences. Like who buys the minigun, motion detector, prop rigger (except will), TMP. All these weapons weapons are in the game, but are either unused or there's another weapon that does their job better. What I'm talking about adding is adding things that bring a new perspective to the game, but still gets the job done. Something fun and fresh, even if it's not better than something else. I just want to have fun Smile btw you can just add the iron boots for detective, traitors dont need them I agree.

Nice list, though.

...meaning only a few innocents can have fall damage reduction...
Yes. That is the idea. It is a very OP powerup, and costs a bunch because of this. We don't want 3+ people running around with this EVERY ROUND.

...Like who buys the minigun, motion detector, prop rigger (except will), TMP....
I suggest you have a look at the T menu... TMP and Minigun are no more.

A few of these are OK ideas. I'll walk through them with SRG later.
I have a few things to update/remove. Keep checking back Big Grin
