I was talking to Mr Meeseeks in game along with some other regulars, and the general consensus seems to be that there are too many T weapons. Because I'm unwilling to add something unless we remove something (to keep the download a reasonable size) we must say goodbye to one or more weapons. But instead of making a massive poll and getting people to vote on which weapons they dislike (because the use them the least and/or have no idea they existed) I've decided to gather some opinions first.

To me, people seem to shy away from weapons they don't understand, so it might be worth teaching other people how to use them during the game **cough cough** admins. For example, tonight I spent an hour or so teaching a player the ins and outs, and a good handful of usually unused T weapons. It's worth interacting with the players and teaching them things rather than leaving them to discover everything on their own.

Now my thought was that people only (usually) buy weapons that are an almost guaranteed kill. I.e. the homing pigeon was a big one popular not so long ago. Knife, remote detonator, pigeon. To name a few. Utilities are fine, like blink, armor, radar.

But people seem to almost never use any of the diverse weapons. Things like the prop cannon (only used to exploit the prop disguiser glitch), headcrab launcher, any of the 4 trap weapons (melon mine, spring mine, prox mine, trap rigger). Shurikens (3x 70dmg), manhacks. Even good old fashioned C4 you don't see as often. And when do you see traitors collaborating and timing Jihads. Almost never. It seems to be too easy to get quick guaranteed kills than it is to think out a plan and use a range of other weapons.

My thoughts anyway. Vote on the poll and then ill make another thread later with which weapons to remove.
Thanks.
