Not just in the first 20-30 minutes, there was literally no transitioning in this movie.
This movie was by and far made for the enjoyment of the fans who have played the VN, because everyone else would be confused about what was going on.
Anyone can enjoy the battle scenes though.

I watched the new "Night shift" movie on Netflix over the weekend and immediately recognized the truck shown throughout the movie as a 67 Chevy with some wide body fenders and bedsides. Anybody know if these are just an aftermarket thing or made just for the movie? I like the look.
