1. Your RP Name: John Carter
2. Have you ever broken any rules or been banned: A few times on some servers but that was when I first started out in DarkRP and didn't get the whole thing.
3. What makes you feel you deserve Admin: I have been Admin on The RustyCutlass before and on other games so I'm pretty adept when dealing with players in a calm and fair manner.
4. Why should you get this job over someone else: I'm not so hard balled with players. I do not try to act like a god among lower rankers. I try to keep everyone level with me by talking fairly and being kind.
5. How would you being Admin help our Server: If a player needs help I'm usually on the ball to help them in time.
6. What are your good qualities: Fair, Laid back, Not too strict. Can be serious when needed. Like to be kind to my fellow members.
7. What are your bad qualities: I can be a bit lazy on some days. I don't remember some of the admin abilities due to not playing Gmod for quite a while.
8. Do you have TeamSpeak 3: Yes I do.
9. Name at least 1 person that you think will support your application (Admin+ only):
10. Do you have any experience as an Admin or Mod: Yes I have been an admin on this server and others before.
11. How often can you play(best case and worse case): Since It's my school holidays at the moment I have plenty of time to play online with people but I do go to work on Fridays.
12 Anything else you wish to say: Can't wait to rejoin the community and see some old faces.
Briefly, define and describe the following terms:
RDM: Random Death Match. The term comes from when a player kills another with no incentive reasoning.
Minge: Someone who messes up people's constructions, kills with props or just annoys or harasses people in general.
Mass RDM: Like Regular RDM but on a larger scale, killing more than 3 people for no reason whatsoever.
Self Supply: If you were an admin or shop owner and only spawn items for yourself and no one else.
Prop block: Spawning objects to obstruct someone's path.
Hacking: Using a 3rd party client and or scripts to change gameplay in a way that favours you.
DDOS attack: Distributed Denial of service. A form of an electronic attack that spams pings to a server making it inaccessible
NLR: New Life Rule. Being killed fairly and going back to the last place you died to get revenge and or harass players.
Hypothetical Situations:
Chris Smith interrupts your admin sit: Since he's the owner of the server I would assume he has a good reason to interrupt, but in the case, it is not important I would explain the situation I'm in and either ask for help or ask me to finish what I'm doing.
Charlie is being a minge:
A staff member is abusing their powers: Notify a higher ranking member and try to take as many screenshots necessary.
Frankie rdms once: Ask others to explain what happened and if he is a new player or was an accident. I would give him a warning.
A super admin is abusing: Oh boy. I would notify the owner or and take as many screenshots necessary.
Frank self-supplies: First time give him a warning and take his items. The second time I will remove items and kick, Third time removes items and give a 30 minute ban. fourth time remove items and give 7-day ban.
Adolph Hitler Mass RDM's: Run.
Thor is job abusing as gun dealer/black market dealer: Give him a temporary job ban.
Agent 47 the hitman kill's someone and they complain: Look up the Hit-Logs and if proved true then tell the complainer to suck it up.
